The idea of photographing weddings had only occasionally crossed my mind until I stumbled across the photojournalistic style of wedding photography. From that point forward I have been hooked! There is something about taking the most important day of a couple’s life and applying an artistic touch to every moment possible.

My goal in photographing weddings is not only to make the bride and groom happy, but to have their friends insist on seeing the pictures again and again…

- What’s your primary style?

If I had to choose one style, I would classify my style as photo-journalistic. However, moments of your day as well as locations present some great posed, creative, and candid shots.

- Do you shoot in color or black and white?

All of my photography is shot in color. When processing the pictures for viewing online, I will convert certain images to black and white when I believe it brings out the mood or gives some “artistic flair”.

- What kind of input can we have on the direction of the shots? Can we give you a shot list to work from?

Input is welcome. I have worked with many shot lists for posed family and guest shots. You might want be mindful of any time constraints the ceremony location may have and plan your shot list accordingly.

- Are you the wedding photographer who will actually take our pictures? If not, can we meet the person who will be?

Yes, I will be the photographer photographing your wedding. I consider it a great compliment that you enjoy my photography and have selected me as your photographer!

- How many times have you worked specifically as a wedding photographer?

In the past year, I have photographed almost 20 weddings.
